Just got into the game, it's a bit of a slow burn to start but it really hooked me around chapter 6/7 (don't want to spoil it for people so it's one the good at sensing girl came into the picture haha). 

I'm just starting chapter 9 but I'm a bit confused on how to deal with chapter 10, since I'm a bit dumb with technology. As a PC player, should I download it, and extract it into the same exact folder as chapter 9, rewritting all the info or do I need to do a separate folder entirely? 

Also highly recommend this to anyone on the fence about trying it out, and if it's a bit slow at first just stick with it! It definitely picks up later in pace, both plot wise but also romance wise. The biggest weakness compared to some other great AVNs on this site would be the models, but everything else is so good that it easily makes up for it in my opinion. 

Easily in my top 5 games on here.  Keep up the good work.  It's worth it.

Recently found this game I have a question though why split the game I don't see a reason too

is it me or by the end of chapter 10 I felt like the over all animation received a big buff

This game is at the top of my list for games I have to play again. It's a masterpiece! I can't wait for the next chapter. Please, be fast! I know quality takes time, but I would sell my soul for the completed version.

Finally able to play season 2 and you didn't disappoint Berkili4 the game was really beautiful

companion of darkness- n/c- 8.7/10 - so this took me a fuckin while to do, life has a way of not giving a flying fuck.

the story took a minute to hook me, but when it did it refused to let go. cute romances, surprisingly intense action, and animations that frankly shocked me with their quality near the (current) end (chapter 10).

with roughly 12 hours of reading, this has already shot up to one of the better AVNs ive played and has stoked the flame of me wanting to play more avns, which is an accomplishment in of itself. 

do i recommend this game?

Companion of Darkness is one of my favorite AVN's out there. To start, the characters are very well done, they have unique loveable personalities, especially Gabriel and Noel. The designs are pretty well done, I enjoy Ciarara, Noel, Zero, Metal, and Ren, I find those few to be my favorite, especially Ciarara. Onto the story now, this game has an incredible emotional story, it'll make you laugh, cry, smile, and piss you off, all in the best way possible, the concept for the story on its own is very interesting, and something I myself tend to prefer over a lot of AVN's. The game can be especially brutal and dark, which is again something I really enjoyed. I also really enjoy the romance of this game, it's not a sex simulator, and when it is, it fits the story and the lore. I tend to be adverse to AVN's that are effectively porn, which is something this game is not, and I appreciate that, you get to care about the cast, and learn about them before you start sticking your dick in them, which as I said, I appreciate. The humor of this game is also really good, especially character banter. Another thing I enjoy about this game are the combat scenes, while not always super smooth, I appreciate the effort, and I find it really enjoyable. Some of them are actually really well done as well. The NSFW scenes in this game originally started as well, not great. But as time goes on it slowly gets better, the most recent scene with Ciarara and Amy is actually one of the best animated scenes I've ever seen in an AVN, Berkili whoever did that scene, I would absolutely recommend seeing about trying to get them again, it was incredibly well done. There's only really two things that I have any real criticism with, other then the early NSFW scenes, the music is pretty hit or miss. And the visuals aren't *amazing*, but they work, and can be quite nice at times. Now with all of that said, this AVN is genuinely incredible, and I'd absolutely recommend it.

There is a lot to be impressed with here --- but the thing thats the absolute craziest IMO is that fucking animated sex scene with the tail involved

I have spent so much time just trying to get the tail's bone mod settup to get images for still frame shots... the idea that someone got a great looking animation working is just utter insanity.

Damn man, that story is legit intimate and I mean it leaves am inpression, perfectly balanced REAL romance. I played the first 2 chapters a few months ago and I gt reminded of this game again while going through my bookmarks. 

I picked it up again 2 days ago and finished it. I'm the type that CANNOT wait for the upcoming story. 

When's the next chapter coming? And will it be longer than Ch10?

Oh Gosh.. So Far So Good. After playing lots of Sh*ts, I must say that This game is the most Beautiful, Romantic and most immotional game that I have ever played. Felt So SAD that I have to wait until the next chapter.

Great game, which also is a dissadvantage becuase I wait I want to play the whole game now and it always takes so long for those games to get finished which is a pitty. Anyways a great game with great animations. I love the AC2 from opening scene referance AND Veronica from FNV reference as well.

Gotta be one of my favourites so far, it's one of the more choices driven and story focused games (which I like a whole damn lot btw) this game is definitely a contender for one of my favourites. My only issue encountered was the optimization with how sometimes despite running smoothly the app just randomly crashes, moreso in the scene in Eda's hideout it practically was impossible to acquire since it crashes mid scene not a device issue either since the other following scenes that are more rendered worked just fine. Other than that the game is pretty good. Also I have to wonder with transferring saves, is it possible to progress through the entire chap 10 then transfer my saves in a file then download the apk with chapter 11 and just transfer it back? Since I can see well enough I have to download the apk with season 2 over my current apk and it'll transfer over. (Just asking since storage issues, though enough with my yapping and I'll just say thank to the creators for making such a rollercoaster of a game)

Yo, this game is seriously awesome! The story is super fun, funny, and even a bit sad, plus it keeps you hooked. I really love the characters, especially Noel, my fave. This is one of the games I like the most. Lots of plot twists. Keep it up, devs!

This is one of the best adult VN's I've played through.  Love the story and (although few and far between) adult clips are still good and fit in perfectly.  Seen many adult vn's that the adult stuff is like every 2-3 min and destroy's any kind of story the author was trying to tell.

I can't access my previous saves. I think mine  was auto  update. What should I do?
