Damn, I hate this game maaaaaaannnnnnn..... I figured I would just check it out since I was bored. Like 9 hours later still playing this crap because I got sucked in to the story. So thanks for ruining my sleep for the night. Other than that Berk it's a very good story. I love it. Easily top 5 so far.

I want to congratulate the author for the story and characters. I was starting to read the VN and at the beginning i was like "meh"... lets see how bad it turns... and then it started getting better and better. Why the meh, you would say? at the beginning of the novel the graphics are so bad that I almost ran away. Anyway... I like what you have done with the game. I will gladly support you in the near future.
A little bug -detail I found was the options when you will get a NFSW scene, it always says MC x some1. That would be a nice idea to remove (to allow you to get a little more of surprises). I know you are giving a heads up of "you are about to see some porn, save now or something" but I dont know.
Another good idea I can give you is to put penetration and x'ing sounds, moans also. DO NOT add voices (not only is too expensive but f's the game, ok?), and something very exciting I have seen in lots of VNs is the exact moment of the pentration that is very nice to see.
I hope your game continues to grow and you keep making it great.
I have to say, i usually don't enjoy VN that much as i prefer the freedom of sandbox-like games. But companion of darkness got me actually hooked like no other game i downloaded in the past few years from itch.io! For 3 evenings i basically played nothing else even tho i have plenty of games in my backlog. Really enjoyed the story, characters and scenes. Straight 10/10!
Its is because is a .exe file instead of a .py I have a very good antivirus so I have no problem risking myself, because I also trust itch.io, but yeah, perhaps changing the lauching file to a .py?
That's just windows security basically not recognising it as safe and downloaded from the internet. Happens to me every time i download something executable. Nothing to worry about.
At first it reminded me of Eternum and in general (up to chapter 9) I can say that it is not inferior to it.
Among pros:
- Interesting and beautiful female character models.
- Quite unusual and interesting plot.
- Quite good animations, allowing you to immerse yourself in what is happening even better.
Among cons, which themselves catch my attention:
- A lot of the male faces are very similar to the MC face.

- For me there were not a few questions about the plot, here are a few of the main ones that I remember and would like to know the answer to:
Why did we leave Clara? We literally left her after we helped her get out of the house and confessed our love to her (optitianally). I understand Noel is our priority, but even so it seemed strange to me.
Why didn't we ask our brother on the roof why he was separated from Nael? Didn't we have questions: Why? What does this mean for him? What are they going to do next?
To summarise, it was not uncommon for me to have disagreements with the actions of the Protagonist. Sometimes his actions raised questions for me, (even for example in chapter 9 when he couldn't contact anyone, why wasn't it a priority to return and check what was going on?).
Perhaps, I missed something somewhere, then please forgive me and ignore it.
In general, the game is interesting and despite the above, will 100% wait for the rest of the game with big interest how everything will end.

Played this when it was just up to chapter 6, playing it now, and it's still fucking phenomenal. Kudos to the dev(s), it's definitely in my top 5 AVNs and probably top 3!
The ONE thing that nags me as someone with many nonstandard piercings and plans with my piercer to get more, is Amy's eyebrow piercing. I genuinely cannot figure out how that is supposed to work, and I can't imagine that there's a reputable piercer that would do it for me if I asked for it. Almost 100% of eyebrow piercings are vertical bars or curved vertical bars, since a stud or dermal in the area would be nearly impossible to heal. Amy's stud/dermal is extremely unrealistic since it sits mostly right on the eyebrow follicle area, and areas with hair follicles have very high cell replication which makes healing complex piercings very complicated. I've seen plenty of inner brow piercings so the location isn't a problem, but no piercer I know would agree to a dermal in that area (which is what that piercing is without a doubt, given that it's a plain stud perpendicular to the plane of the skin) ESPECIALLY on the hardest part of the brow to pierce.
I genuinely think that it's on-brand for Amy to get an inner brow piercing even though it's more "extreme" than an outer brow, but a vertical or curved vertical bar would be FAAAAAAR more realistic for the specific spot her brow piercing is in. Brow dermals are practically non-existent due to the near-impossibility to heal a dermal along major follicle areas.
My advice is that simply adding a small stud shape above the brow and making it and the original piercing smaller would look enough like a regular eyebrow bar to pass for a realistic piercing. The location is on the "abnormal" side but very far from unrealistic, so with that slight adjustment it will make much more sense
I've had quite a resurgence when it comes to AVNs this year, as before this spring I hadn't really found any new ones that I liked since September 2021 when v0.1 of of Eternum was released. I just kinda stopped looking. But this year, I got back into it and found a couple that even challenged for my top 10.
But to likely end the year with the best one... Well, let's just say I didn't expect much based on the intro! But I went from "I was wrong, this is actually pretty good" to eventually realizing that this game doesn't just challenge for top 10, it challenges for top 3!
LOVE this game and cant get enough of the story I'm still playing through and having a great time you did an amazing job making the game so far and I'm exited for future content. I'm noticing a lot of grammar errors and wondering if English is a second language? No hate just curious.

I love the game a lot, the story is really unique, has a TON of potential, the characters are unique, loveable and funny, the art style is great (except mc and his brother, they look out of place in the beginning). Updates are more frequent and bigger than many other games in this genre, and that is a big plus because you don't have to wait ages for the story to continue. Can't wait to see where the story goes, but I would like if more romantic scenes (not necessarily sex) could be between mc and Noel in the future. (I finished the game in less than a day lmao XD)
Also one thing I noticed is that I choose the maledom path every time in the dream sequence with Cia when trying to find Noel, but in the gallery view it only lets me replay it as femdom

I’ll admit, when I first launched the game, I had mixed feelings. I openly expected a C-grade movie storyline - something like "Zombies Beavers 2." I decided to give the game a chance, and I don't regret it. The plot and music completely won me over, and I’m really looking forward to the continuation. A good production deserves support, so I’ll probably decide to patronize it soon.
Noel is my favorite character. I didn’t expect that an entity born of darkness and living for thousands of years (or even longer) could be so attached to a human and feel such deep emotions. I’m really curious how her relationship with the MC will develop. She is my TOP1 girl.
I’m also rooting for Rule B – I believe his story deserves a continuation. Especially because his relationship with Nael is much more mature. Who knows? Perhaps the younger siblings will come to their aid at some point.
Arsa is really well designed. Her temperament, combined with her capriciousness and humor, gives the whole story a pleasant lightness. The humor is at a good level.
Amy is sweet, and like Noel, she is a great support for the MC. I’m curious how the situation with her... belly will unfold. :)
I have mixed feelings about Clara. She's a nice girl, and at the beginning, I was sure that it was with her that the MC would build a lasting relationship. However, somewhere along the story, she got left behind. As a result, her feelings for the MC have to give way to other relationships, as we simply don’t spend any time with her. Poor girl but that's how sometimes life work.

So far I've completed a fine translation of chapter1. I'd like to ask you how you feel about this, for or against.
If you are against it I will stop immediately and stop working on it, and delete the results I have so far. If support ...... you don't know how happy I am!

I'd like to know what the Legion's purpose is. To kill as many dark ones as possible to gain power equal to God's? Everything is clear with the other two alliances. But Legionnaires are a bit strange guys. Especially what makes mere mortals who are not companions help them.
As everyone else said... 10/10, worth every second, minute, and hour.
The adult scenes keep getting better as you progress through the chapters, as does everything else from fight scenes to... hell, it becomes top-notch later on so don't get discouraged early on, though I doubt anyone would...

If I had to summarize this game in one word, it would be: masterpiece :v. After playing the first two chapters, I thought: the storyline of this game really has potential and opens up so many directions. This game would definitely be on my tier list... And after playing up to chapters 6-7-8. Damn, now I can say this game is at the top 1 of my tier list. There's nothing more to say about the story, it’s simply perfect: the way the characters are built, the way their inner struggles are expressed, their changes and development... truly beyond imagination. And the music, the animation, it really, really gave me goosebumps. I actually replayed some parts right after finishing chapter 9 (currently updated). Right now, I don’t have the financial means to support the devs or to enjoy the upcoming chapters sooner =((( , I really regret and apologize for that. But overall, this is truly a game worth experiencing, and I hope the dev will continue to update this masterpiece.
P/s: Gab and Nael are such a great match; I just hope nothing bad happens to them, but if the dev have plans for them... well, I won’t comment any further...

I found the issue, apparently 7zip had a major update 3 months ago and your file is the first that I've seen not compatible with the older version.

I’ll admit, when I first launched the game, I had mixed feelings. I openly expected a C-grade movie storyline - something like "Zombies Beavers 2." I decided to give the game a chance, and I don't regret it. The plot and music completely won me over, and I’m really looking forward to the continuation. A good production deserves support, so I’ll probably decide to patronize it soon.

I love cod very, very much, and would like it to be enjoyed by more people. Unfortunately the game doesn't support Chinese, for that reason I'm working on a voluntary Chinese translation of the game. So far I've completed a fine translation of chapter1. I'd like to ask you how you feel about this, for or against.
If you are against it I will stop immediately and stop working on it, and delete the results I have so far. If support ...... you don't know how happy I am!
P.S. In my area, sponsorship from overseas authors is very difficult due to policy issues, and I don't have a steady source of income at the moment. I'll fill in once I find a solution.
Hey there, I think it’s great that you’re translating the game into Chinese! I already have some Chinese players, so making it accessible to even more people would be awesome.
Also, there’s no need to worry about sponsorship. While it does help keep the game alive, it’s more important to me that people take care of themselves first. Otherwise, I wouldn’t feel right accepting the money in good conscience.

I'd like to know what the Legion's purpose is. To kill as many dark ones as possible to gain power equal to God's? Everything is clear with the other two alliances. But Legionnaires are a bit strange guys. Especially what makes mere mortals who are not companions help them.
The game looks fun but I have a small question for if I play, do the H scenes have sfx in them?

The adult scenes keep getting better as you progress through the chapters, as does everything else from fight scenes to... hell, it becomes top-notch later on so don't get discouraged early on, though I doubt anyone would...

First of all, I apologize because my English isn’t that great. And secondly, this will be a long comment :3.
If I had to summarize this game in one word, it would be: masterpiece :v. After playing the first two chapters, I thought: the storyline of this game really has potential and opens up so many directions. This game would definitely be on my tier list... And after playing up to chapters 6-7-8. Damn, now I can say this game is at the top 1 of my tier list. There's nothing more to say about the story, it’s simply perfect: the way the characters are built, the way their inner struggles are expressed, their changes and development... truly beyond imagination. And the music, the animation, it really, really gave me goosebumps. I actually replayed some parts right after finishing chapter 9 (currently updated). Right now, I don’t have the financial means to support the devs or to enjoy the upcoming chapters sooner =((( , I really regret and apologize for that. But overall, this is truly a game worth experiencing, and I hope the dev will continue to update this masterpiece.
P/s: Gab and Nael are such a great match; I just hope nothing bad happens to them, but if the dev have plans for them... well, I won’t comment any further...
