Really surprised how interesting the story became and how likable and indepth the characters turned out.
The first few chapters pacing is a big weird + cliché but the devs improves so much after that once the plot and world expands. Well worth sticking through it all. Chapter 9 was great.

Really there were so many renders and quick change of small scenes that it really seemed overwhelming at first, but now that I've been through the story, I fucking love it and am so glad I randomly found this page, this game and story has all the ups and downs to throw my emotions out of wack, it's amazing, thank you for this beautiful story, and I can't wait to see what's next.

Sometimes there's a brand new crazy looking character you see for just a few renders which really adds life to the world: the Dark Ones aren't just anime girls, they are whatever they choose to be. Also, bold move to make a central character essentially an evil dictator (no hints as to who!) without automatically making them a straight up irredeemable villain. In fact almost none of the characters can be considered truly good in a traditional sense. Refreshing take on a genre
When they were talking about europe they showed some pictures of these people, and I recognized one from dogma, realized that It makes sense that this is same universe and there were hints here and here. And I was wondering if do you have any collaboration with dogmas autor. And another question cause there were more pics excluding this one from dogma, these pics are from orher games? Which?
Bro I can't get enough of this story, Chapter 9 was awesome. For anyone that can't get enough of this and want other games to play while they wait, I say give Stray Incubus a shot (Asrael has a little cameo in this) and it's got an amazing story, MurMur is another good one, Eternum, Once in a lifetime, Stormside, and evermore. They're all phenomenal with great stories. Needless to say I've been waiting for quite a while so I've had time to find some of these. Once in a lifetime is a full completed story, Stray Incubus has quite a lot content available, and Eternum is pretty far along too. Good luck, enjoy.
The story in this game is so amazing!!! I would still play it even without the lewd scenes. Definitely became one of my favorites real quick. I only had one complaint, and it's not even something major, maybe translations for the other languages......I only play on mobile so it isn't as easy to translate myself, or maybe there is a setting i didn't see. Thank you for a great game.

Dear Berkili, I love and hate how good this story line is...
The story is so amazing it makes me keep thinking about it (Nael fault).
The reason I said hate is that this now makes the high expectations of other story games especially paid ones... Also, I don't hate it, but what Nael can do is disturbing when you feel like you are the MC yourself (Example: If Zero finds out Gabe is lying...) But other than that you put the story so well placed, I feel as if I'm in the game as the MC being involved.

I've really enjoyed this so far. One minor annoyance is that some scenes with text have a slight delay before the text appears and i end up skipping the text and having to go back quite a bit. On the topic of going back, I'd like the option to tap on a specific side of the screen to move back instead of having to use the "back" button on the menu box as that is a pain to actually hit accurately. For reference I'm playing in the tablet mode on a galaxy z fold 6

i love this game so so much. like when i tell people i "read for the plot", this is the plot i mean. the emotional scenes tug the right heartstrings and the personalities of the characters are amazingly developed. i look forward to future content and just wanted to share my appreciation for the creator of this game and wish them the best. this avn has so much replay-abilty as it is quite full of content, and when i did replay it, its quite clear to see how far along this vn has come, quality-wise etc. there were so many plot-twists that i never saw coming at all, especially those in the recent chapter(s). easily the top few avns in terms of everything you want to see in an avn (in my opinion). keep up the good work berkili! thank you for this amazing story
Easily up there one of the best Avns overall, very hooked with the story and can't wait for more. Solid action and story focused with a good mix of humor romance and also really nice world building. Had to leave a comment here. Although some scenes from the older chapters would seem to get frozen at times and not match, Just addressing it since it could be a bug. Personally I couldn't be bothered by it overally it's really really good and underrated. Very looking forward to more content.

I wanted to play this game for a while now and let me say that I was not dissapointed! The quality of the renders improve by a huge margin over time and just awesome, the story is one of the best I have ever seen in a VN, managing to get me hooked and wanting for more all this while creating some insanely good characters like Noel, Amy and who could forget Asrael, the one that could always put a smile on my face.
If I am to mention some negatives would be that the early renders can look rough, if not buggy at times but idk if that's just my computer and that some background characters can look out of place at times, I am 99% sure I saw Luna from Eternum in one scene at the...void cafe if I can call it that and that wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't so huge compared to everyone else, the artstyles just don't match and her model sticks out like a sore thumb amongst the rest in my opinion but this is just me splitting hairs to be completely honest, none of this affects the gameplay and are mostly just minor details, I only put this here because I don't like to say only the good things about something no matter what I do.
TL;DR: 9/10 ,would play again (please give us more Asrael, it doesn't have to be nsfw scenes, she's funny and deserves more screen time)
On my current replay, I noticed a bit of an inconsistency in a couple characters' sexual preferences. Which, people can be multi-layered but they still seem odd.
When you first meet Amy, she identifies herself as a sadist and says that she likes to be in control. It's presumably a significant trait to her because it's one of the first things she tells you (although she seems to equate sadist and dominant). But when you actually sleep with her later on, there's almost no trace of that. In fact, she almost immediately tells you she wants you to be dominant. I suppose there was a tiny bit of dominance in the shower scene if you don't choose to extend the scene by taking control, but even then it was pretty mild especially compared to her submission if you do.
Then also, with Eda, the first time you meet her she comes across as a switch. She asks which role you'd like and seems to be happy either way, going so far as to say "Good. I like it that way" if you choose to take the lead. But then in the scene at the start of Act 2 where she's trying to cheer you up, she specifically says that she prefers to always be in control but will make an exception given the circumstances.

MC accidentally bonds with a symbiotic spirit (called a Dark One). Initially he tries to keep his new powers under wraps and live a quiet life but when he avenges a SA attempt against his friend, he unintentionally gets drawn into both Dark One and Companion politics. (Companions are the people who are bonded to Dark Ones.) These political spheres are well-realized, with various factions and powerful individuals and no clear "good guys" or "bad guys". Main character's motivations throughout are largely to survive and protect his loved ones, but to do that he has to do some fairly aggressive things at times.
Does a good job of making you care about the characters and of presenting decent stakes (things don't always go right for our protagonists all of the time). Primarily caters to a harem/poly romantic approach (and purely hetero), but doesn't make all of the LIs feel like they're just there to check boxes off our MC's collection - they feel like they have their own lives that don't revolve purely around him. The only exception to this is his Dark One, whose life does revolve around him, but that's because she's literally bonded into his soul. Even then she has her own wants and needs that don't always align perfectly with his. Additionally, all of the LIs feel very distinct, in their personalities, their capabilities and their sexual preferences.
As a con, it's worth noting that this game is very kinetic - there aren't many choices and those that are there don't change the story much at all.
Overall, if you want a fantasy AVN that focuses on intrigue and action with a gothic/horror aesthetic, while still having decent romance/sex, I don't know of a better option. At least not if you're okay with your choices not really mattering.
You mentioned the word 'Poly' mixed with the harem aspect. Can you elaborate please? I don't mind Poly stuff as long as it works and blends well together. I also don't mind Yuri and love it if that is an option.
I mean, harem is a form of poly. Any harem game is a poly game. Me saying poly didn't mean that the girls are also in relationships with each other. There are a couple of lines that indicate sapphic content and/or threesomes might be a possibility at some point, but as of chapter 8 it hasn't happened (I haven't played through ch 9 yet). Rather, I emphasized the poly because it doesn't quite follow the standard "harem game" format.
There's not a clearly defined group of women you are dating who all live their lives in proximity with you as you progress all of their stories. Rather, a number of characters drift in and out and back into your life as events and circumstances dictate. Often you have the option to have romantic and/or sexual entanglements with them. No one seems to care too much if you are doing so with multiple people. And it's left unstated whether the women in question are doing the same or not.
As someone who is poly IRL, it feels like a more realistic depiction of one form of what poly can look like than the vast majority of harem games do (the only one I can think of that competes on that front is Out of Touch, but that's a very different form of poly).
like most games on itch, i approached this game with rock bottom expectations. the game turned out to be great. far better than i had imagined.
the pace manages to be perfect, i never felt the story lingered in one area too long. but also didn't speed along so fast that i couldn't stay up to date. the writing is fantastic especially with characters. they each speak and behave ever so slightly different.
what is there to say about the lore and world that others haven't said? the companions and dark ones are fascinating, but one aspect i praise above all is how the world isn't stagnate or in limbo without the protagonist's presence. you feel like events occur whether you are present or not.
one event i found strange and couldn't help but focus on entirely happened later in the story and ill be as vague to avoid spoilers.
in France the character is intercepted by several companions, they are fully convinced the character has back up. not only that but the character has armor that should absolutely be well known to companions, the companions who intercepted should have made an immediate retreat there. but this a different country so maybe the armor isn't as well known here.
but this presents another issue. this group has no armor and seems to only have a knife. now there are three of them sure. but they have reason to believe this individual has back up, not only that but they are in heavy military armor and is a confirmed companion as well. why on earth would this group armed with maybe a knife take on what looks like a juggernaut in military gear who is a companion and is likely to have back up? its a small event but it stood out as one area the game seemed to have no logic.
i can only conclude this group was next level idiotic.
aside from that single instance everything else was tightly written and i find myself very eagerly waiting for more chapters. this game stands among the best games this site has to offer. its up there with Eternum, Projekt Passion, Harem Hotel and Monster girl dreamers. 10/10
As far as the armour being recognizable, even Matt didn't recognize it on sight. The user of that armour was a legend but kept a pretty low profile.
As for the rest, they suspected he had one other companion in hiding, which would make it 3-on-2 in their favour, all of them being companions. And the military armour is not a huge factor - they presumably don't know what it is, and ordinary military armour is probably not significant protection against companions. To them it's effectively a costume. So, yeah, they're being cocky and overconfident, but expecting a 3-on-2 to go in their favour is fairly reasonable.
that actually makes a lot of sense. i was leaning back on actually knowing what it is. know one knew the armor wasn't normal armor and thinking they had back up didst mean much when it could have just been one person. thanks for clearing that up. it was bothering the hell out of me
I eagerly wait for the next chapter. You got me worried about what I may have to choose in the future with certain characters, but I'll cross that bridge if it arrives. I beg you to see the game to completion, and hopefully when I get a job again I can add some support to that begging lol. I really did enjoy this though, one of the few AVN that has a story that I'm actually interested in.
I have waited so intently for that chapter 9 release, and after playing through it, oh have I missed this story. I ended up replaying the whole thing just to refresh myself, and I think I find myself repeatedly falling in love with Noel I NEED CHAPTER 10 OJKNDCSDUSDOIF. But in all sincerity, that was definitely worth the wait, and thank you so much for putting in all your effort and love into this, don't feel pressured and take your time with updates, especially if it continues being such peak fiction. Can't wait for Chapter 10!

Oh the game is not encyrpted you can just open the files and under \game\audio\Music you can see all the songs, because i dont remember anymore XD

got to the settings and tick the "Skip unseen text."
activate skip and you should be at the new content in a heartbeat.

Amy just likes sex, and pretends to be more confident than she really is. In the beginning at least.
I'll have to check Eda, she likes both, so "always" might not be the right term, I'll have to look it up in the code
Hey dev, I've a question for u. Is it not possible to pursue Emma's route without femdom? I don't really like femdom but a little bit of femdom is okeis for me. But can u pls let us know that in future is there going to be an option between maledom or femdom, so we can enjoy it as our taste. I'll be really grateful if u please let us know.
Review:
MC accidentally bonds with a symbiotic spirit (called a Dark One). Initially he tries to keep his new powers under wraps and live a quiet life but when he avenges a SA attempt against his friend, he unintentionally gets drawn into both Dark One and Companion politics. (Companions are the people who are bonded to Dark Ones.) These political spheres are well-realized, with various factions and powerful individuals and no clear "good guys" or "bad guys". Main character's motivations throughout are largely to survive and protect his loved ones, but to do that he has to do some fairly aggressive things at times.
Does a good job of making you care about the characters and of presenting decent stakes (things don't always go right for our protagonists all of the time). Primarily caters to a harem/poly romantic approach (and purely hetero), but doesn't make all of the LIs feel like they're just there to check boxes off our MC's collection - they feel like they have their own lives that don't revolve purely around him. The only exception to this is his Dark One, whose life does revolve around him, but that's because she's literally bonded into his soul. Even then she has her own wants and needs that don't always align perfectly with his. Additionally, all of the LIs feel very distinct, in their personalities, their capabilities and their sexual preferences.
As a con, it's worth noting that this game is very kinetic - there aren't many choices and those that are there don't change the story much at all.
Overall, if you want a fantasy AVN that focuses on intrigue and action with a gothic/horror aesthetic, while still having decent romance/sex, I don't know of a better option. At least not if you're okay with your choices not really mattering.
You mentioned the word 'Poly' mixed with the harem aspect. Can you elaborate please? I don't mind Poly stuff as long as it works and blends well together. I also don't mind Yuri and love it if that is an option.
I mean, harem is a form of poly. Any harem game is a poly game. Me saying poly didn't mean that the girls are also in relationships with each other. There are a couple of lines that indicate sapphic content and/or threesomes might be a possibility at some point, but as of chapter 8 it hasn't happened (I haven't played through ch 9 yet). Rather, I emphasized the poly because it doesn't quite follow the standard "harem game" format.
There's not a clearly defined group of women you are dating who all live their lives in proximity with you as you progress all of their stories. Rather, a number of characters drift in and out and back into your life as events and circumstances dictate. Often you have the option to have romantic and/or sexual entanglements with them. No one seems to care too much if you are doing so with multiple people. And it's left unstated whether the women in question are doing the same or not.
As someone who is poly IRL, it feels like a more realistic depiction of one form of what poly can look like than the vast majority of harem games do (the only one I can think of that competes on that front is Out of Touch, but that's a very different form of poly).

like most games on itch, i approached this game with rock bottom expectations. the game turned out to be great. far better than i had imagined.
the pace manages to be perfect, i never felt the story lingered in one area too long. but also didn't speed along so fast that i couldn't stay up to date. the writing is fantastic especially with characters. they each speak and behave ever so slightly different.
what is there to say about the lore and world that others haven't said? the companions and dark ones are fascinating, but one aspect i praise above all is how the world isn't stagnate or in limbo without the protagonist's presence. you feel like events occur whether you are present or not.
one event i found strange and couldn't help but focus on entirely happened later in the story and ill be as vague to avoid spoilers.
in France the character is intercepted by several companions, they are fully convinced the character has back up. not only that but the character has armor that should absolutely be well known to companions, the companions who intercepted should have made an immediate retreat there. but this a different country so maybe the armor isn't as well known here.
but this presents another issue. this group has no armor and seems to only have a knife. now there are three of them sure. but they have reason to believe this individual has back up, not only that but they are in heavy military armor and is a confirmed companion as well. why on earth would this group armed with maybe a knife take on what looks like a juggernaut in military gear who is a companion and is likely to have back up? its a small event but it stood out as one area the game seemed to have no logic.
i can only conclude this group was next level idiotic.
aside from that single instance everything else was tightly written and i find myself very eagerly waiting for more chapters. this game stands among the best games this site has to offer. its up there with Eternum, Projekt Passion, Harem Hotel and Monster girl dreamers. 10/10

As far as the armour being recognizable, even Matt didn't recognize it on sight. The user of that armour was a legend but kept a pretty low profile.
As for the rest, they suspected he had one other companion in hiding, which would make it 3-on-2 in their favour, all of them being companions. And the military armour is not a huge factor - they presumably don't know what it is, and ordinary military armour is probably not significant protection against companions. To them it's effectively a costume. So, yeah, they're being cocky and overconfident, but expecting a 3-on-2 to go in their favour is fairly reasonable.
that actually makes a lot of sense. i was leaning back on actually knowing what it is. know one knew the armor wasn't normal armor and thinking they had back up didst mean much when it could have just been one person. thanks for clearing that up. it was bothering the hell out of me

I eagerly wait for the next chapter. You got me worried about what I may have to choose in the future with certain characters, but I'll cross that bridge if it arrives. I beg you to see the game to completion, and hopefully when I get a job again I can add some support to that begging lol. I really did enjoy this though, one of the few AVN that has a story that I'm actually interested in.

I have waited so intently for that chapter 9 release, and after playing through it, oh have I missed this story. I ended up replaying the whole thing just to refresh myself, and I think I find myself repeatedly falling in love with Noel I NEED CHAPTER 10 OJKNDCSDUSDOIF. But in all sincerity, that was definitely worth the wait, and thank you so much for putting in all your effort and love into this, don't feel pressured and take your time with updates, especially if it continues being such peak fiction. Can't wait for Chapter 10!
